WORKSHOPS AND PRESENTATIONS

Seeing Our Lives Through A Different Lens

Come and explore your creative vision and use it to see new possibilities in your life! You’ll learn how to make use of everything nature supplies around you to see your life situations in ways that will help you cultivate peace, happiness, creativity and healing. Even if you don’t consider yourself creative, you’ll see that everyone is—and that you have surprising inner resources of intuition and problem-solving powers.

You’ll explore the “Sand Spirits,” a stunning set of photographic cards created from abstract photographs of stones, sand, seaweed, shells and other objects found on a beach. Pam will teach you how to dialogue with a “sand spirit” who will astound you with insight and wisdom. You’ll experience exercises from her Sand Spirits: The Workbook, which have helped people all over the world with issues in business, the arts, communication and problem-solving, family relationships, teaching children, self-healing and with professional work in the healing arts Guided visualization will deepen your experience.

In a daylong workshop, you’ll also work with natural objects you gather on a “medicine walk” and incorporate into a mandala or “soul map” that you’ll create outdoors.

For a large group or a talk, images can be projected on a screen, and for a short workshop, participants will receive handouts. Card sets and workbooks can be sold at all events, or can be part of package. Participants do not need to purchase anything for the workshop.

Flying Lessons: 7 Ways to Break Free and Soar

Do you believe you can fly? The fantasy and symbol of flight is so ancient and powerful that most of us dream, either waking or sleeping, of soaring beyond our fears, pain and self-doubt, and achieving our dreams.

Through Pam’s stories about learning to fly a small plane in her mid-50’s, you’ll explore the fears and blocks that serve as “gravity” for you. As you get to know Pam’s colorful flight instructor, Clio, you’ll learn the seven lessons that Pam’s “aviation therapist” gave her for life. How will you relate to “Know Where You’re Going to Land,” or “Have Enough Fuel for the Journey?” You’ll leave with a dipstick and instructions for using it to manage your energy so that you can soar.

You’ll hear the moving story of how Pam has applied Clio’s teaching to her healing journey through cancer. You’ll identify with the hero’s journey to find the life force inside that Pam compares to a bird that longs to be freed from its cage.

In a class setting, you’ll receive a “flight assessment” form that will allow you to see where you can make changes in your life. Pam will demonstrate with her quick and insightful coaching how her metaphor allows you to see what you need to do to rise above your current challenges. You’ll leave with a seven-step process you can use for your whole life with any issue.

In a workshop or 3-day retreat, you will have more time to experience and work with Pam in depth. This powerful material, from Pam’s forthcoming book, can be presented as a keynote a class, or a retreat. Bomber jackets and flight scarves encouraged!

Ancient Tools for Contemporary Relationships

Come and explore some tools that indigenous peoples all over the world have used for thousands of years to enhance personal and community communication and healing.

Depending on the amount of time we have together, we can explore these tools either in brief or in depth:

- The talking stick: a tool for communication
- The power animal: a tool for protection
- The shamanic journey: a tool for decision making
- The medicine bundle: a toll for acting “on purpose”
- The sand painting: a tool for transformation
- The sacred circle: a tool for strengthening community
- The fire ceremony: a tool for healing the planet

This workshop, retreat or series of classes are great for families, corporate teams, or people who want to explore a spirituality that is an earth-based path where nature is considered sacred. This is not a religion or a cult, but a way of seeing the world that can enrich life for people of all faiths. A keynote, titled “The Shamanic path: Ancient Practices for Contemporary Lives: is an introduction.
